Temporary Distribution Resource Planner - Tree Top

This is a temporary role that we anticipate being 5-8 weeks, full time in Selah, WA. The length of need is subject to change.
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
The Distribution Resource Planner (DRP) maintains oversight for CPG & Ingredient business related 3PL warehouses with regards to all aspects of inventory control. Position reviews inventory reports and cross references systems to recognize, research and rectify inventory discrepancies at warehouses, plants, co-pack facilities and distribution warehouses. In addition, position works with internal and external parties to initiate and maintain inventory protocols; recommends solutions to inventory issues and identifies best practices for the purpose of maintaining accurate inventory information, including identifying and recommending distribution improvements and efficiencies.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
This position reports to the Master Scheduler and does not supervise staff. The position works closely with Customer Service, Planning, Demand Analyst, Information Services, Contract Manufacturing, Sales, Finance, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Quality Assurance, Plants, Warehouses, Distribution Centers, Co-packers, and Carriers.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR ENTRY:
KNOWLEDGE OF:
- Principles and practices of providing customer service.
- Office administrative and management practices and procedures, including record keeping.
- Principles and practices of effective business communication; basic report writing methods and techniques; correct English usage, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
- Mathematics and general accounting.
- Pertinent Federal, State, and local laws, codes, and regulations.
ABILITY TO:
- Read, understand, interpret, apply, explain, and reach sound decisions in accordance with laws, regulations, rules, contracts, procedures, and policies.
- Exercise independent judgment and initiative within established guidelines.

- Communicate with multiple group levels within and outside of Tree Top in a professional manner.
EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION/LICENSES, AND TRAINING:
- A High School diploma or GED is required. Associate degree is preferred.
- Minimum of three years of supply chain, warehouse, and/or inventory experience.
