Client Overview:
Our client, a well known mass market company specializes in categories including womenswear, menswear, children’s, home and more. They are seeking a Temporary Materials Analyst to maintain and enhance the Materials Strategy.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$40 – $50/hr depending on experience
Position Overview:
This Temporary Materials Analyst role involves managing tools and processes from an enterprise perspective to provide insights for program portfolios and support strategic leadership decisions. Key responsibilities of the Temporary Materials Analyst include organizing and communicating complex information to diverse, cross-functional teams, and focusing on project management and data organization for strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities of the Temporary Materials Analyst:
- Perform complex data analysis, addressing issues with data integrity and conflicting resources
- Prioritize and manage multiple processes, projects, and deliverables with minimal oversight, ensuring collaboration across cross-functional teams
- Develop and maintain templates, processes, and best practices for use across the business
- Continuously monitor and optimize the Mill Matrix
- Collaborate with the Materials Director to define, implement, and enhance tools, processes, and workflows
Qualifications for the Temporary Materials Analyst:
- Experience in operations or project management with a broad understanding of product development
- Proven ability to drive individual and team performance to meet deadlines
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Proven track record of success in similar roles
- Entrepreneurial, creative mindset with proactive problem-solving skills
- Highly collaborative and strong team player with excellent relationship-building abilities
- Ability to balance creativity, technical knowledge, and strategic thinking
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to handle ambiguity, navigate challenges and untangle difficult tasks
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, design systems (e.g., Canva), PowerPoint, PLM systems, and data collection platforms like Power BI
- Detail-oriented with a flexible approach to problem-solving and a strategic mindset
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required
