The role of the Temporary Structure Supervisor is to supervise and assist the Temporary Structure Installer I & II with installing and dismantling temporary structures in a safe and efficient manner following manufacturer and company guidelines
This role will be responsible for managing and directing a small crew in a positive learning environment.What you'll do:Leadership: motivate, coach and train personnelResolve issues where staff needs assistance and following the proper escalation processCoordinate new hire on-boarding and employee on-going trainingProvide regular performance feedbackReward and recognize employees to reinforce positive behaviorsInstalls and dismantles temporary structures using powered equipment, various type of lifts, and hand toolsAssembles various tents per manufacturer, company, safety policy and proceduresInspects tents and accessories for damages before removingLoad and unload truck properly at job siteRequirements:High School diploma or equivalent3-5 years of tent installation experiencePossess and maintain a valid driver's license with minimal driving infractionsAbility to lift up to 45 poundsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailFamiliarity with DOT and OSHA regulations and construction experience a plusAbility to mentor and coach other installersWorking Conditions:Ability to stand for extended periods of timeMost work will be indoors with general warehouse conditions, in which some work areas may not be heated or air-conditionedConstant interaction with co-workers and with the publicFrequent lifting and a significant degree of walking, bending and transporting objects of various weights and dimensionsMay have exposure to chemicals, including but not limited to gasoline, diesel fuel, propane, kerosene and cleaning solventsPropane is an obvious hazard therefore, a sense of smell is requiredThis position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals' policies and procedures.Why join us?We don't just ""talk the talk!""
