Qualification: We are seeking candidates with a doctoral degree in education, including those who will have completed their doctoral degree prior to the start date of the appointment. ABD candidates will also be considered. The candidate must possess teaching experience in US K-12 schools, demonstrate a commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching, and can demonstrate scholarly engagement in their field. The candidate will also show a dedication to school-based collaborations and community-based learning.
We are particularly interested in candidates who possess expertise and preparation (at Master's or higher degree) in reading and literacy. Candidates with expertise in other content areas (such as math, science, and social studies) in teacher education at the elementary or secondary levels will also be considered.
