Role Overview:
The Territory Manager is responsible for driving new business through prospecting and securing new clients, as well as maintaining and growing existing customer relationships. This role requires a consultative approach and strong technical sales skills to deliver valuable solutions and services to both current and prospective customers, ensuring long-term partnerships.
- This opportunity offers a base salary up to $120K + UNCAPPED COMMISION (+ added bonus incentive for every dollar you generate over your yearly plan + vehicle allowance!)
- This is a remote role; however, you must reside in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx, Staten Island, or Long Island, NY to be considered. You will primarily work from home, but expect to be on the road 3-4 days a week visiting existing customers, prospecting, and driving new business
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and secure new clients to expand the customer base.
- Retain and increase sales and profitability with existing clients.
- Continuously assess and address customer needs and objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at all levels within accounts.
- Utilize online research, trade shows, and company leads to identify potential new customers.
- Maintain high levels of sales activity and review progress with management as needed.
- Create and present sales proposals aligned with customer requirements and goals.
- Develop and execute detailed customer plans for key accounts to achieve territory revenue and profit targets.
- Ensure clear and effective communication with internal teams and customers.
- Overnight travel may be required based on the territory's needs.
Requirements:
- Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 3 - 5 + years of proven success in territory/outside sales.
- Strong intellectual curiosity, with excellent problem-solving abilities and top-tier verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated strengths in presenting, negotiating,closing and building strong relationships with customers.
- Experience in equipment sales is an advantage.
