Job Purpose:
To grow and maintain a sales organization of dealers/contractors who produce profitable sales to meet or exceed the assigned Mingledorff’s objectives for a designated territory and to promote directly and/or indirectly, the sales of the Company’s products and services, with the overall best interests of the Company to utility companies and builder partners
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Make direct sales calls to insure growing sales and profitability of the territory. Process includes quoting, ordering and following up on orders.
- Make prospective dealer calls throughout the year in his/her assigned area and turn prospects into customers.
- Meet or exceed annual sales goal as assigned by sales manager.
- Project Management – handle delivery problems, find equipment, coordinate service and warranty issues with our customers.
- Resolve customer complaints, credit department issues and billing disputes in a timely manner to insure TM is not placed on the CSR report.
- Make indirect sales calls to cultivate and influence business.
- Promotes the idea of “One Brand Selling” where applicable.
- Encourages contractors/dealers to participate in the advertising, sales, marketing programs and training meetings and other programs that Mingledorff’s, Inc. and CCRP offer.
- Maintains and updates customer files; monitors parts inventory of the customer.
- Increase his/her technical knowledge and knowledge of competitive offerings.
- Maintain knowledge of competitor’s products and services.
- Participate in sales forecasting and planning.
- Attend at least 16 hours of business or product training annually.
- Ensure price book, quotes and manuals are up-to-date.
- Complete accurate and timely weekly call reports.
- Assist in distribution center staffing with inventory control and during shortages of counter personnel due to vacations, sickness, and emergencies.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
- Work cooperatively with others
- Comply with all company policies and procedures

Qualifications:
- Technical School Diploma in HVAC/R or Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Business or Engineering
- 5 years HVAC /R or Refrigeration experience
- 5 years Inside or Outside Sales experience
- Customer Service Experience
- Proven time management and organization skills
- Ability to make quick decisions based on limited information.
- Excellent communication skills and professional approach to sales
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Possess a satisfactory driving record as determined by Company Driver Policies
- Qualify for and remain insurable under Company liability insurance policy
- Qualify under federal and state regulations to drive the vehicle in question
Travel Requirement:
Up to 75% travel to contractors/customers requiring some overnight stay, travel to industry related conferences and training requiring some extended stay.
