Successful candidate will have opportunity to develop critically important infrastructure and services that directly impact the quality of our products.Minimum QualificationsStrong working knowledge of macOS and iOS hardware and softwareExperience testing applications and triaging issues on iOS and macOSExperience managing test automation across numerous physical hardware devicesStrong software and hardware debugging skillsProficient in Python, Golang or similar languagesExperience with Xcode/XCTest and SwiftExperience working on Unix/Linux based platformsComputer Science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, and complexity analysis)Strong analytical and problem solving skillsExcellent written and oral communication skills and ability to work with large development teamsExperience working collaboratively to define, develop, and deploy test automation across multiple applicationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or similarPreferred QualificationsExperience scaling macOS and/or iOS lab infrastructureUnderstanding of performance testing methodologies and strategiesExperience with software development processes such as building, unit testing, code analysis, release process, and code coverageExperience with Apple's Video applications (FCP, Motion, Compressor, iMovie)Experience with OS virtualization - experience working with hardware cluster focused on scaling virtualized OS deploymentExperience with CI/CD process and adjacent tools e.g
JenkinsExperience with DevOps tech stack/tools such as Ansible, Docker, KubernetesExperience with infra monitoringPay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range
This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role
The base pay range for this role is between $136,300 and $248,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs
Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan
