DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPerform validation and acceptance testing of electrical control panels in a manufacturing environment. Must be able to read and interpret wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings. Working knowledge of electrical control panels and wiring is required. Troubleshooting and repair of defects is required. Occasional travel to customer locations including overnight stays will occur.

- Interface with Panel Designers and System Engineers
- Visual inspection
- Validate workmanship of completed panel assemblies
- Point to point wiring validation
- Power Up (line voltages up to 480 VAC 3PH)
- Program downloads
- Interconnecting field devices such as motors, sensors, switches
- Perform system tests to validate correct device and system functions
- Photo documentation of finished panel, mark-up of engineering drawings (red-lines) to as-built and preparation of engineering change orders
- Manufacturing support as required
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or Technology
- 2+ years experience in electrical testing in a manufacturing environment with a preference in testing electrical control panels
- Familiarity with UL508A and IPC A620 preferred
- Experience using standard tools for testing, including multimeters, oscilloscope, etc.
- Requires a thorough understanding/training in Lock-Out/Tag-Out
