Type of role: Part-Time Fee for Service (Minimum 10 clinical hours weekly)

Eligible for: $1,000 sign-on bonus*
In-home Fee for Service Rates: (Provisionally licensed clinicians)
$50 - compensation rate per clinical session
Stokes Counseling Services is a leading mental health private practice in Connecticut. We’re a group practice made up of licensed clinicians (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LPCA, LMSW, MFTA, APRN, PMHNP) who provide an array of counseling services and individual medication management. Headquartered in Naugatuck, CT, we also deliver telehealth services state-wide and in-home mental health therapy to specific areas.
About the position:
Provide in-home non-crisis outpatient level of counseling to clients of our FAM program, designed to work with families who are having a difficult time communicating and working together as a family. Note: FAM Program Clinicians are not on call and are not case managers. This is a clinical role and we can resource connect as needed.
Who we are looking for:
Provisionally licensed mental health therapist in the State of Connecticut (LPCA, LMFTA, or LMSW).
1-3 years experience conducting counseling/talk therapy sessions with diverse client populations.
Passion for in-home work.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Advanced proficiency in conducting intake assessments and formulating treatment plans.
Strong written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide and maintain documentation within the appropriate time frames.
Have a valid driver's license and access to a properly insured vehicle for work or reliable transportation.
What you’ll do:
Under the direction of a senior member of our Clinical Team, you will:
Assess the mental and behavioral health status of referred clients with mild to moderate mental health conditions and/or substance abuse issues and Conduct standardized counseling/talk therapy sessions for Stokes Counseling clients
Perform intake/biopsychosocial assessments to evaluate clients' mental and behavioral health status.
Formulate differential diagnoses along with short-term and long-term goals.
Provide and maintain written documentation of intake, assessments, progress/contact notes, interventions, treatment plans, and termination notes within the designated time frame.
Maintain appropriate documentation of clinical and counseling services, including all necessary billing information. Ensure accurate and consistent use of intake forms for all client contracts with behavioral health providers to ensure accurate billing of third-party resources.
Charge copays, deductibles, co-insurance, and no-show/cancellation fees at the time of service when indicated and appropriate.
