Job Summary:

• Will join our current team which consists of a general thoracic surgeon and PA
• Motivated to learn how to manage thoracic diseases
• Supports surgeries and general consultations at two HealthONE hospitals
• Ideal candidate will have general thoracic surgery experience or general surgery experience; new graduates interested in a surgery practice encouraged to apply
• Monday-Friday schedule, plus shared call and weekend rounding between multiple providers
• Will have inpatient rounding responsibilities including surgical consultations, postoperative care, and discharge management
• Clinic responsibilities including managing postoperative patients and play a vital role in program development coordinating care with referring pulmonologists, oncologists, and primary care providers.
• Team-oriented, multi-tasker with a willingness to learn and hone skills
