Timekeeper Administrative Assistant - LA BUSINESS MANAGEMENT SERVICES, LLC

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Time and Attendance Clerk to join our team. In this role,

you will be responsible for accurately tracking and managing employee attendance, time

records, and payroll data. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills,

attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining accurate and confidential employee

records.

Essential Responsibilities:

 - Maintain and update employee time and attendance records in the payroll system. 

- Review and verify timecards for accuracy and completeness.

 - Process leave requests and ensure compliance with company policies. 

- Assist in preparing reports related to attendance, tardiness, and absenteeism. 

- Communicate with employees regarding timekeeping policies and any discrepancies.

 - Collaborate with the HR and payroll departments to resolve issues related to time and

attendance.

 - Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations regarding timekeeping and

recordkeeping. 

- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

 - High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Business

Administration or related field preferred. 

- Proven experience in time and attendance tracking, payroll processing, or a similar role. 

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and payroll software

(experience with PrismHR, UKG, ADP is a plus).

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping. 

- Excellent organizational and time management skills. 

- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. 

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. 

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Verify attendance, hours worked, and post information onto designated records. 

Review time sheets, work charts, and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies.

Compile employee time and department allocation from time sheets and other records.
