Toddler Teacher Assistant
Qualifications:
- Pass a DCF background screening.
- Must be available Mon. thru Fri.
- 45 hours of state-mandated training completed within one year.
- CPR and 1st aid certification completed.
- Be able to lift at least 40 pounds.
- Stay positive.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Must be reliable.
- Must supervise children in classrooms and the extended classroom, which is on the playground.
- Engage in all activities with children such as jumping, dancing, walking, and running.
- Respond quickly and appropriately to children's needs.
- Be able to sit on the floor with the children with the agility to change position quickly.
- Be flexible and willing to work as a team.
- Maintain DCF/Apple mandates.
- Provide professional and respectful communications with staff and parents.
- Must keep confidentiality.
- Annual continue 24 hours mandated education.
