Toxic Tort Defense Associate Attorney

Our client, a highly respected law firm, is known for delivering exceptional legal services across a range of civil litigation matters in California. They are currently seeking a skilled and driven Associate Attorney to join their team remotely. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior to midlevel attorney to further their career in a dynamic, forward-thinking legal environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently manage a caseload of non-asbestos toxic tort defense matters, including cases involving alleged exposure to chemicals or toxins in products or materials.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Conduct depositions, attend hearings, and participate in trials.
• Provide strategic legal counsel and advocacy on behalf of clients.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and contribute to case strategy and planning.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in the defense of toxic tort matters (non-asbestos focus preferred).
• Must be Bar licensed in California, in good standing
• Ability to work remotely with excellent self-management skills
• Exceptional legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
