Trailer Mechanic - All StarZ Staffing & Consulting, LLC

All StarZ Staffing is hiring a Trailer Mechanic for an immediate opening with a truck and trailer repair company in Tukwila, WA (near the Museum of Flight). We’re looking for someone with previous heavy-duty truck/trailer repair experience to inspect and repair class 8 trucks and trailers. Training is available for the right candidate. This is a full time, temp to hire opportunity with room to grow!
 
 
Pay for the Trailer Mechanic:

• Up to $32 per hour, depending on experience
• Room to grow & training available

 
Job Location:

• Tukwila, WA, near the Museum of Flight and SeaTac Airport, and near Hwy 599, Hwy 99, and I-5
• Conveniently located near local restaurants and cafes

 
Schedule for the Trailer Mechanic:

• Monday – Friday
• Day shift: 7am – 3:30pm
• OT & flexible shifts available

Trailer Mechanic Duties:

• Perform repairs on semi-trailers
• Inspect vehicles and equipment to determine the extent of work needed
• Provide time estimates for repairs
• Repair and overhaul haul hydraulic, pneumatic, ignition, and electrical systems
• Repair and overhaul transmissions, differentials, and related components
• Use of a variety of hand and power tools and equipment

 
Trailer Mechanic Qualifications:

• Prior experience is a plus, but training is available for the right candidate!
• Mechanical aptitude is a must for entry level candidates
• Familiar with service & repair of class 8 trucks & trailers is a plus
• Must have a valid driver's license. CDL is a plus, but not required
• Must have good problem-solving skills
• Must be able to use a variety of hand and power tools
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Must be able to maintain regular attendance
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
