Trailer Technician - Gpac

Gpac is working with one of the nation’s largest trailer companies that is seeking a Trailer Technician. Qualified applicants understand the importance of doing a job correctly and the value of satisfied customers. Regular duties include basic diagnostics, service repairs, and modifications on brake systems, wheels, body, and air & electrical systems.

Trailer Technician Responsibilities:

• Performs basic diagnostics and both major and minor repairs
• Performs air and electrical system repairs
• Diagnose and provide recommendations on repairs
• Efficient worker able to deliver quality repairs in a timely fashion.
• Maintains a clean work area and accurately records work progress and hours of all work performed.
• Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.

Trailer Technician Qualifications: 

• 3-5 years mechanical background in heavy-duty trucking industry or similar
• Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment
• Proficient knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
• Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes.
• Proficient oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift at least 100 lbs.
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
