How you make a difference:
The Clinical Education Specialist collaborates with management and staff across departments to assess, plan, develop, implement, facilitates, and revise educational programming for all levels of personnel. This position acts as a key resource in the orientation and continuing education of all staff at the site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures programs adhere to organizational and regulatory standards using standardized learning principles.
- Develops and implements educational programs for staff orientation and professional development.
- Facilitates orientations and annual trainings, including CPR and CPI certifications.
- Evaluates educational program outcomes to guide continuous improvement.
- Supports leadership decisions impacting clinical practice and engages in strategic planning and educational activities.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education
- Required: Masters in psychology, social work, or related field.
Experience
- Required: Five (5) years’ experience as a mental health professional in a healthcare or mental health treatment setting
- Preferred: Three (3) years’ experience in a leadership position
Licenses/Certifications
- Required: CPI and CPR certification (given upon hire at the facility)
Compliance
- Must adhere to compliance requirements from company, client agency, and accreditation bodies
