M1 is looking for a Training Instructor:
Duties and Responsibilities
Conducts formal academic and hands on aircraft maintenance training.
Documents individual training records as necessary.
Coordinates with Branch Managers to schedule training aircraft.
Ensures all activities are accomplished strictly in accordance with the Performance Work Statement, Air Force Instructions, Technical Orders, and company policies.
Responsible for the implementation of the Training program.
Reports to Training Supervisor.
Ensures personnel have obtained the necessary training and instructions to successfully perform their duties.
Interfaces with internal and external customers.
Attends applicable meetings as required.
Plans, coordinates, controls, and evaluates training operations and personnel.
Supports company business development efforts as needed.
Must deal with the customer and company employees in a courteous, professional and effective manner. Represent the company in an appropriate professional manner in terms of attire, business courtesies, ethics, and customer culture.
Additional Requirements:
Minimum Requirements
Bachelors/Associates Degree in an associated discipline is desired.
Thorough understanding of USAF aircraft maintenance processes desired.
Minimum 4 years of USAF maintenance training environment, award of formal training T code required.
T-6 and/or T-38 maintenance experience preferred.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills are required.
Must have a working knowledge of computers (input/extract data) and basic computer software programs such as Word, Outlook, Power Point, and Excel.
Must speak, read, write, and understand English.
Current valid U.S. Drivers License.
Environment ranges from office-like to hangar and flight line. Extensive sitting to climbing, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands.
