This role will report directly to the Manager of Training Quality Excellence. The professional level role will support the development and enhancement of training capabilities. A core proficiency for this role is to have a deep understanding of the training process. The Training Specialist will support the execution of long- and short-term training strategies that are in compliance with local, national and international regulations and standards as well as policies and processes
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure proper design and development of curriculum to ensure that people receive the right training at the right time.
- Provide leadership in the assessment and implementation of future learning solutions, methodologies and technologies that will incorporate adult learning principles, sound instructional design and blended learning that increases knowledge and improves operational capability.
- Provide guidance for content creation to ensure training aligns with adult learning theory.
- Execute training internal audits to ensure compliance to the training program and regulations.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of the training program to align to business needs.
- Collaborates and prepares information regarding training records for internal and external audits and inspections and prepares training reports for the Metrics report system.
- Coordinate and ensure the completion and execution of periodic reviews for curriculum, content, and learning plans.
A minimum of a bachelor's or equivalent University degree or equivalent experience is required.
Required:
- 2-5 years' experience in training and development.
- Experience working within an Aseptic Production area.
- Critical thinking and organizational skills are required.
- Experience with training in a regulated environment
- This position may require up to 10% domestic travel.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
