This is a temporary, 12-month position offering experience in the field of project administration and records management related to construction. Under the direction of the Records Manager and the Closeout Manager, the Intern will support administering the project closeout process and provide records management support.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Create and maintain project files in accordance with records management procedures.
• Prepare and edit project reports.
• Update and maintain project information in spreadsheets and systems.
• Prepare engineering and construction records for migration into an electronic document management system.
• Prepare meeting minutes and upload to project websites, as required.

Skills Required

• Ability to demonstrate problem-solving skills and the ability to transfer prior experience to new projects.
• Must be a self-starter that is reliable, professional, and able to handle confidential information with discretion and trustworthiness.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently, meeting demanding production schedules while ensuring high-quality standards.
• Effectively use software such as Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam Revu, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, and image viewing software to prepare and maintain digital collections.
• Demonstrates flexibility in working with multiple assignments and priorities.

Education & Experience

• One to four years of college in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or another construction-related subject.
• Prior work (intern) experience in a construction-related role.
