Job Duties:
- Provide technical and troubleshooting assistance on installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
- Evaluate existing systems and propose upgrades to improve efficiency, reliability, and safety
- Review and optimize load flow, short circuit, and transient stability analyses.
- Review engineering documents from design firms and contractors.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed improvements or expansions.
- Collaborate with internal/external teams to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Participate in meetings, review progress, address technical issues.
- Stay informed about advancements in electrical engineering technologies and best practices.
- Respond promptly to electrical disturbances, outages, and emergencies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Power System Engineering
- 7+ years of experience in power distribution and system operation.
- Experience in system reliability, predictive maintenance processes, and methodologies.
- Proficiency in CAD software and electrical engineering simulation tools (e.g., SKM). •
- Knowledge of industry standards (IEEE, NESC, NERC) for electrical transmission/distribution systems.
