Trauma, Critical Care Surgeon - Temple Health- Philadelphia, PA at Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University

The Department of Surgery, Division of Trauma and Surgical Critical Care at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine (LKSOM) is seeking a fellowship-trained Trauma, Critical Care Surgeon to join its team-oriented faculty. The successful applicant will provide state-of-the-art care for the critically injured throughout all recovery phases at Temple Women and Families. The new faculty member will be expected to develop an elective surgical practice, perform general emergency surgery and share equitable on-call call with the group, including the possibility of burn call. The hospital is fully committed to providing the highest level of care for its trauma and surgical critical care patients. The new faculty member will be expected to make clinical, academic, and research contributions to the department. Applicants must possess an MD, MD/Ph.D or DO with active board certification in General Surgery, BE/BC in Surgical Critical Care, in possession of or eligible for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and credentials that will qualify for a faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.
