**Job Title:** CT Technologist
**Job Specialty:** Diagnostic Imaging
**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** 40-hour week consisting of four 10-hour shifts
Rotating start time between 7 a.m
and 2 p.m., Monday through Friday, with every other weekend and occasional holiday coverage.
**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified
**Experience:** Up to 1 year of diagnostic Radiologic experience required
1 year of experience in CT preferred.
**License:** Registered A.R.R.T., and state license required.
**Certifications:** Current CPR skills and CT certification required
Certification in IV infusion techniques is also necessary.
**Must-Have:** Associates degree in Radiologic Technology and cross-sectional anatomy courses
Proficiency in IV contrast infusion techniques.
**Job Description:**
- Perform CT imaging procedures as per established protocols.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging processes.
- Maintain and operate CT equipment efficiently.
- Collaborate with medical staff to assess and meet the needs of patients.
- Prepare and administer IV contrast media.
- Participate in QA/QC processes to maintain imaging quality.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulatory standards.
- Flexibility with shift timings and availability for weekend and holiday coverage.
