**Job Title:** CT Technologist

**Shift:** 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (8.5-hour Day)
**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 per week
**Experience:** Minimum of 1-year experience preferred
**License:** Maine State License
**Certifications:** BLS, ARRT (R) (CT) required
**Must-Have:**
- Experience with CTA studies and general studies
- IV start skills preferred
- Experience with Toshiba and GE equipment preferred but not required
**Job Description:**
- Perform CT scans for a variety of patient types, including ED, Outpatient, and Inpatient.
- Work primarily with adult and geriatric patients, with some pediatric cases.
- Handle outpatient cases, such as oncology, general abdominal pain, post-surgical, and trauma.
- Assist with biopsies—experience is not required as training will be provided.
- Conduct 25-30 scans per day on average.
- Collaborate with support staff: Lead Tech, two techs on weekdays and evenings, one tech on weekends, internal transport, and an onsite radiologist.
- Utilize technology such as Toshiba Aquilion 64 and GE 16 slice PET CT.
- Follow a set schedule with a varying weekend rotation and participate in a holiday rotation with other techs.
- Orientation is provided, ranging from 1 to 1.5 weeks, depending on experience and comfort level.
- Professional attire is required; scrubs in any solid color or those provided by the facility are acceptable.
