Job DetailsThe CT Technologist is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).The CT Technologist is licensed by the state as a general radiographer and is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.Responsibilities include the performance of basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.The CT Technologist demonstrates proficiency at routine diagnostic CT Scanning procedures including CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.The position involves knowledge of processing of CT system, surgical/sterile procedure studies with or without contrast media, and cross-sectional anatomy.Tech preferred CT trained but if not, will provide training.The position is for CT and Radiology; performing x-ray is necessary and be willing to cover call if needed and cover in OR if needed.
Job RequirementsGraduate of an accredited AMA school.Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).Licensed by the state as a general radiographer.Must be competent in both CT and X-ray.Experience in the OR and working C-Arms is required.Only specific requirements are Certified by ARRT and Licensed in New Mexico.
Schedule InformationShift is Monday through Friday (7:30a - 4:00p) shifts.There will be one week (7 days) of call, every six weeks.36-Hour Guarantee.
