About The Position
A school district in San Diego, CA is looking for dedicated School Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants COTA to join their team for the 2024 - 2025 school year with the possibility to extend. School Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants COTAs who work for Pioneer Healthcare Services are dedicated professionals who interact amongst diverse populations and are enthusiastic about the difference they make in their patients' lives through assessment and treatment. Experienced and new grad School Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants COTAs are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities of a School Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants COTAs: * Assists Occupational Therapist staff in identifying and assessing students' skills and abilities * Assists with the development of the occupational therapy intervention plan as part of the IEP process * Assists with data collection and assessment with established service competency documented * Provides assistance and training to school staff through consultation * Works cooperatively with personnel from other agencies providing services to the student or family * Performs related duties as assigned
