**Job Title:** MRI Technologist I

**Shift:** Days, 5/8s Monday-Friday
**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 Hours per Week
**Experience:** Entry-level position
**License:** Eligible for MRI Certification; must be achieved within 12 months of hire date.
**Certifications:** ARRT Certification, BLS (Basic Life Support) current upon hire
**Must-Have:**
- Associate's degree or higher preferred
- Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited program in cardiovascular or radiologic technology
- Proficiency in English (Speak, Read, Write)
**Job Description:**
- Provide safe, high-quality, and efficient patient-centric care and support services in various care settings, including acute inpatient facilities, outpatient physician practices, diagnostic/urgent care centers, and remote outreach clinics.
- Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with procedures ordered by physicians.
- Communicate and collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams to achieve desired clinical outcomes, operational goals, and service expectations.
- Utilize specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic equipment and techniques for a range of diagnostic, interventional, and/or surgical procedures in accordance with established guidelines.
- Conduct post-procedure reviews to ensure completeness, documentation, and technical quality in line with department protocols and accreditation standards.
- Transfer images and data to appropriate archival systems, enter technical data/findings, and prepare studies for physician reporting.
- Perform operator-level quality control checks, cleaning, and maintenance per manufacturer instructions and regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in continuing education, professional development, and research activities to maintain competencies and promote continuous improvement in care and treatments.
- Demonstrate sensitivity to patients' physical and psychological needs, maintain accurate records, and exercise discretion in handling confidential information.
- Display a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment toward completing assignments efficiently.
