**Job Title:** Medical Technologist
**Job Specialty:** Lab Technologist - Generalist
**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM; 2 weekends per month
**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 per week
**Experience:** Minimum six months in a medical laboratory setting
**License:** N/A
**Certifications:** Certification at the technologist level from a nationally recognized agency, such as ASCP, NCA, ASM, AABB, ACS, or HEW (Preferred)
**Must-Have:** Generalist experience
**Job Description:**
- Perform routine and complex analytic procedures on blood and/or other body fluids or specimens.
- Utilize manual techniques or laboratory instruments and information systems.
- Complete an accredited Bachelor’s Degree program in medical technology, medical laboratory sciences, or clinical laboratory sciences.
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, or Biology (considered if coursework aligns with duties).
- Verify coursework completed outside the country through a NACES-approved credential evaluation service.
- Demonstrate technical proficiency and theoretical knowledge sufficient for laboratory functions.
- Communicate effectively in English (read, write, and speak).
