2 year(s) of experience required; Nuclear Medicine BLS required Certs/ARRT & other specialty certification requirements |CNMT, ARRT(N) BS degree is most common How many scanners/rooms does this department have? |1 New Siemens SPECT/CT Will they have to float/cover any other areas? | No Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties | Cardiac, and routine Nuc Med Exams. 75% of all exams are Cardiac exams Must have skills | Experience in Cardiac Nuc Med, and comfortable being the only Nuc Med Tech. Average # of scans/studies per day | 35-50 scans per month What EMR &/or PACS used? | Philips PACS, EPIC EMR Department Specific Equipment |New Siemens Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech? | You will be the only Nuc Med tech Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)? | No Radiologist in-house 24/7? | No Do they have to start IV's? | Yes, must be able to start IV’s Shifts & Scheduling | Day shift, M-Fri. You can start at 6:00am, or 7:00am. Additional Notes | Assists with Mobile PET scanner if time allows.
