About the Job
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification is required.
- BLS - Basic Life Support Certification is required.
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification may be required.
Certification Details
- Pre-Screen Unit - Candidate will be reviewed by clinical to determine clinical fit, if clinical pass and within Piedmont guidelines, candidate will be sent to the manager for final decision.
- Clinical screens will be sent on case-by-case basis.
- Manager will interview
- MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 years - Unit accepts first time travelers
- PATIENT POPULATION: Adults to Geriatrics - CVOR
- REQUIRED SKILLS: ACLS, BCLS, Cardiac, Vascular, Thoracic with the ability to scrub are all hard requirements. Heart Transplant is highly preferred.
- UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis EPIC, SBAR
Job Details
- Minimum experience of 2 years required.
- Unit accepts first-time travelers.

- Heart Transplant experience is highly preferred.
Job Requirements
- RTO: Max 7 days
- BLOCK or SELF SCHEDULING not available
- WEEKENDS: Rotation
- CALL REQUIREMENTS: Yes/variable - Typically one weekday/call every week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks
- HOLIDAYS: Required to work if one major holiday falls in the assignment period, two if two holidays fall in the period, and two if three major holidays fall in the period.
- Major Holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve and Day

Unit Specific Information
- Photo ID Required
- Compliance with pre-start requirements is mandatory for starting on time.
- Delay in compliance may lead to a push back in the start date due to a bi-weekly orientation schedule.
