- Come to OR for your next travel assignment. Hospital is looking for an ICU RN to help out for 13 weeks on nights.
Job Details
- Must have ACLS, BLS, PALS and OR license.
- Ratios: 1:2-3, unstable vent patients 1:1
- Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: sepsis, respiratory failure, encephalopathy, DKA, COPD exacerbation, RSV/Influenza/COVID-19, occasional stable pediatric patients (mixed unit)- must be comfortable with all age populations.
- Experience or 'Must have' skills: ventilator, drip titrations
- Are RNs required to titrate drips? yes
- Common titratable &/or set rate drips: heparin, vasopressors, Bumex, insulin, sedation/analgesia.
Job Requirements
- Shifts & Scheduling: 1900-0700; 3 12-hour shifts/week
- Weekend Requirement: every other
- Holiday Requirement: negotiable
- Is there a call or standby requirement? if placed on low census, expected to report within 30 minutes of call.

- Unit: ICU
- # of beds: 5
- Ratios: 1:2-3, unstable vent patients 1:1
- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: sepsis, respiratory failure, encephalopathy, DKA, COPD exacerbation, RSV/Influenza/COVID-19, occasional stable pediatric patients (mixed unit)- must be comfortable with all age populations.

- RT in ICU 24/7: in house, we are critical access, so they service the entire hospital
- RT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc): vents, cpap/bipap, high flow n/c
- Is there tele on this unit? Monitor Techs? RNs read strips? CCU RNs read telemetry strips for med-surg pts
- Scrub Color/Dress Code: Navy blue
- Unit/Department specific orientation: 3-6 shifts, longer if needed

- OR License - IF no Oregon License in hand, can apply for the 90 Day Oregon Emergency License
