About the Job
- American Heart Association only. ACLS, BLS, PALS, ENPC, NRP required for various units.
- License Verification required within 30 days of start.
- IV Certification (LVN/LPN), Fire Card (LA City facilities only)
- Proof of current license.
Certification Details
- Must have NICU EXPERIENCE ICU RN.
- The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice.
- Directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the ICU.
- Communicates with the physician about changes in the patient's clinical condition including hemodynamic monitoring results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
- Able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
- Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.
Job Details
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS (AHA or Red Cross).
- Current ACLS (AHA or Red Cross).
- Minimum 1 year as a staff RN in acute care hospital critical care preferred.
- COVID vaccination preferred.
- Epic EMR experience preferred.
- Float to units of competency.

Unit Specific Information
- American Heart Association only. ACLS required for various units.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, NRP, and other certifications as per unit requirement.
- Advanced EFM required for L&D - must be updated every 2 years.
- MAB is required for ER and Psych.
