- hold an active BLS and CA license
Job Requirements
- 12 hr shifts 6:45-7:15
- Weekend Requirement-4 weekend shifts in 4 week schedule
- Holidays-work into perm staff rotation
- Floor specific orientation-1 shift on unit
Schedule Information
- Unit Medsurg Oncology
- # beds-17 beds
- Certs-BLS
- Ratios-1 to 5 could be 1 to 4 if one of patients is getting chemo
- EMR-Cerner
- Charge Nurse-clinical supervisor who will not take pt assignment, will fill in as break relief
- Nurse Aides-1 nurse aide on for 8 hrs of days
- Floating-to tele 1 to 4 ratio, could also float between medsurg floors
- Common diagnosis / Types of patients-mostly oncology patients but may have some overflow medsurg
- Vents-No
- Hospitalist or Intensivist in house hosp -24/7
- IV Team-no
- RT 24/7-yes
- Pharmacy 24/7 yes
Unit Specific Information
- COVID Vaccine Required (Certification);
- **HOLIDAY RTO WILL BE CONSIDERED, HOWEVER NOT GUARANTEED
- Scrub Color-navy
- Tele-portable tele box as needed, they do have monitor tech, nurses must be able to read and interpret, will have to take dysrhythmia exam
