- Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS.
- Education Modules: Online Education Modules. As well as unit orientation based upon employee need.
Certification Details
- MUST HAVE CARDIAC EXPERIENCE.
- 22 WEEKS.
- 48 Hrs Preferred, 36 Hrs Acceptable.
- Pre-Operative and Post Operative; ICU experience required.
- Pre and Post Procedure TEE/CV/CATH/EP OR Procedures.
- Cardiac Drips, IVS, Tele Monitory, PH 1 Care, Groin management, EKGS.
Job Details
- 3 Years PACU experience with recent years.
- Must be able to read tele strips.
- Must have Trauma Level 1 Experience.
- Must have Prior Travel Experience.
Job Requirements
- Shift: Nights 12 Hour Shift.
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 48 Hrs Preferable, 36 Hrs Acceptable.
- Weekend Hours: Saturday Day will be Scheduled (every other weekend).
- Weekend Call Requirements: Every other Weekend.
- Call Requirements: Yes.
Schedule Information
- Unit Information:
- Number of Beds: 40 pre post beds 9 overnight bays (23-hour short stay embedded).
- Patient Ratios: 2:1 Phase 1 Care (up to 3-4 in 23-hour stay).
- Equipment: IV PUMPS, PCAS, Epidurals, A lines, Tele Monitoring, TEE/CV.
- EMR: Epic.
- Type of Patients on Unit: Cath/EP/TEE Cardioversion OR procedures Pre-Post Vascular, Robotic TAVRS, Pediatric CATHs.
- Personality Fit: Team player, Excellent communication skills and flexible, Can-Do Attitude.
- Dress Code: Scrub Color: Any. Fragrance Free.
- Any unacceptable attire: Artificial Nails, Cell phone use.
