**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Wound Care **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM **Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years in medical/surgical nursing and wound and colostomy care **License:** RN License **Certifications:** Wound Care Certification, AHA BLS Certification **Must-Have:** New York State RN License, Primary Source Verification, Wound Care Certification **Job Description:** - Perform wound care consults, primarily in-office, with occasional travel required to clients' homes for assessments and treatment. - Provide expert wound and colostomy care management. - Engage in community outreach to educate and support patients in wound care practices. - Utilize excellent communication skills to coordinate patient care with healthcare teams and family members. - Maintain and document patient care records accurately. - Collaborate with the healthcare team to improve care strategies and outcomes. - Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards. - Serve as a certified home health registered nurse, providing high-quality, patient-centered care. **Languages:** English proficiency required in reading, writing, and speaking.
