**Job Description:**
- Assess clients' or consumers' physical capacities, developmental, and psychosocial functions using both standardized and non-standardized assessment tools.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement occupational therapy treatments, either in groups or individually, to benefit the client.
- Determine and execute appropriate therapy techniques and sequences in collaboration with other programs for overall client/consumer benefit.
- Provide consultation with clients, consumers, healthcare professionals, and other interested parties about progress and treatment plans.
- Participate in the organization and management of occupational therapy services, including policies and procedures.
- Act as an interdisciplinary team member to ensure cohesive and comprehensive treatment approaches.
- Assess and recommend suitable adaptive equipment.
- Document evaluations, observations, assessments, and treatment plans while maintaining accurate records.
- Keep updated on current knowledge relevant to occupational therapy through continuous professional development.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to team goals and outcomes.
- Assess, recommend, and provide mandated therapy services tailored to individual needs, especially in educational settings.
- Collaborate with classroom and residential staff to implement appropriate adaptations.
- Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and provide recommendations for continued development.
- Submit necessary documentation and program participation reports as required.
