Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Travel Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists in delivering essential medication services across multiple healthcare facilities. This role involves traveling to different locations, including hospitals, retail pharmacies, and long-term care facilities, to ensure accurate preparation, distribution, and inventory of medications. You will work closely with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and efficient pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, ensuring accuracy in dosage, labeling, and packaging.


• Maintain and manage medication inventories by stocking shelves, monitoring expiration dates, and placing orders when necessary.


• Process prescription orders, verifying patient information, and inputting data into the pharmacy system.


• Assist in compounding medications under the supervision of a pharmacist, following proper protocols.


• Handle pharmacy transactions, including processing insurance claims and resolving any related issues.


• Educate patients on the proper use of medications, answering questions and providing clear instructions.


• Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and safety protocols, maintaining accurate records of prescriptions and inventory.


• Travel between healthcare facilities, adjusting to different pharmacy environments and workflows.
