Must-Have: Acute care experience; adaptable/coachable, team player
Job Description:
- Provide physical therapy services to a diverse patient population, including trauma, orthopedic, neuro, cardiac, post-op, ICU, and MedSurg patients.
- Maintain a patient ratio of 10-12 per therapist or achieve 15 units per day.
- Collaborate with supportive staff such as CNAs, receptionists, and charge nurses.
- Utilize technology and equipment effectively, with knowledge of EMR systems, specifically Cerner/Powerchart.
- Float within the hospital to cover various departments, including trauma, orthopedics, neuro, MedSurg, ICU, and ED as needed.
- Complete a 3-day orientation in the department.
- Participate in a weekend rotation once per month.
- May be required to assist with holiday coverage for Thanksgiving or Christmas.
- Wear appropriate scrub color, navy blue or dark green.
Please note that schedules and time-off requests will need approval, with the ability to approve up to 7 days off.
