**Must-Have:**
- Proficiency with Zimmer systems and various robotic procedures
- Experience in a range of surgical procedures including ortho, spine, and joint surgeries
- Ability to participate in on-call duties 2-3 times per month overnight, plus one weekend per month
**Job Description:**
- Assist in Community Hospital surgery suite with a focus on spine and joint excellence and a high volume of orthopedic cases.
- Operate and manage robotic systems for surgical procedures.
- No floating required; work exclusively in assigned unit.
- Use Meditech for documentation.
- Collaborate with provider support teams including Interpretation Services, Lift Teams, Pharmacy, Phlebotomy, Physical Therapy, Radiology, Rapid Response Teams, Respiratory Services, Social Services, and Unit Secretary.
- Work under the supervision of in-house Intensivist, Hospitalist, Anesthesiologist, and CRNA, available 24/7.
- Undergo a 16-hour orientation.
- Scrubs provided by the facility.
- Handle various surgical tasks including but not limited to:
- Bariatrics, Endo/Laparoscopic, ENT, General, Gynecology, Orthopedic, Robotics, Urology, and Vascular procedures.
- Care and maintenance of scopes & fiber optic equipment, case carts, drills, electrosurgical units, and fiber optic light sources.
- Follow aseptic techniques, isolation precautions, laser safety, radiation safety, sharps safety, and sterilization/disinfection protocols.
- Adhere to Universal Protocols (Time Out) procedures.
**Preferred Skills:**
- Experience in Hybrid OR, Pediatric General OR, Neuro, Neuro/Spine, Plastics, Podiatry, and other advanced surgical procedures.
- Familiarity with advanced robotic surgical systems like Da Vinci, Mako, and others.
- Competence in high-level disinfection (HLD), specimen handling/labeling, and use of crash carts.
Candidates should be adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment while maintaining the highest safety and care standards.
