**Job Title:** Endoscopy Technician

- Ability to float to sister facility
**Job Description:**
- Work in a unit with 2 procedure rooms and 8 pre-op/admitting and recovery bays.
- Handle 15-25 cases per day, including General GI procedures such as EGD, Colon, and Advanced GI procedures like ERCP, EBUS, and spyglass.
- Participate in a clinical profile review, followed by a manager phone interview.
- Complete a PASS/FAIL Sim Lab on day 1 of orientation, focusing on Port Dressing Change.
- Maintain flexible start times, primarily working Monday to Friday from 7am to 5:30pm, with weekends on a 24-hour call.
- Participate in self-scheduling and rotating calls with the team.
- Weekend call schedule includes Friday night (5:30pm-Saturday 6am), Saturday (6am-Sunday 6am), and Sunday (6am-Monday 6am).
- Respond to calls within 30 minutes of notification.
- Possible float to a sister facility if needed.
- Change into pre-op light blue scrubs provided by the hospital.
- Work alongside 4 techs, assisting and documenting as required.
- Assigned to weeknight call 5-6 nights within a 4-week period.
- Assigned to take weekend call 2 weekend shifts within 4-week period.
- Utilize Cerner charting system
Note: The hospital may cancel up to 3 times per contract, with each cancellation potentially being a full shift or part of it.
