*Job Overview:*
As a Counselor at Skyward Treatment Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in the treatment team, providing comprehensive counseling services to clients battling substance abuse disorders. Utilizing evidence-based approaches and a client-centered focus, you will guide individuals through the recovery process, addressing underlying issues, and fostering personal growth.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Conduct individual and group therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of each client.
* Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
* Facilitate psychoeducation sessions to enhance understanding of addiction and recovery.
* Assess clients for co-occurring disorders and provide appropriate referrals.
* Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with regulations.
*Requirements:*
* Minimum of 1 year of experience working in residential drug and alcohol treatment.
* Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC), or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
