Job Title: Truck Driver/Warehouse Associate
Position Description: Drives Solano-Napa Habitat for Humanity (HFH) ReStore vehicles to pick up donated goods and other materials primarily within Solano and Napa Counties. Assists in the Restore warehouse. As needed, assists with cashiering at the register and with store floor sales and customer service. Is a positive and enthusiastic ambassador for the HFH home-building mission.
Time Commitment: This is a full-time, non-exempt position, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
Salary Range: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Benefits: Eleven paid holidays per year, one paid sick day per month, 80 hours of paid vacation, participation in Kaiser Health Plan
Job Requirements:
- Must be 21 years old or older.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED certificate.
- Must possess a Class C driver’s license with a clear driving record.
- Must be able to pass a required drug test.
- Must be certified to operate a forklift or willing to train to be certified.
- Able to stand, squat, bend, and climb in and out of a truck multiple times a day.
- Able to lift and move objects up to 100 pounds with proper tools.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Must be able to stand and walk on cement floors for up to four hours uninterrupted in a crowded retail facility.
- Adhere to occupational safety guidelines and COVID-19 safety guidelines.
- Must have good communication and interpersonal skills, working with diverse individuals and groups.
- And tasks as assigned.
