The Truck Inventory Control Manager is responsible for all aspects of acquiring, maintaining, marketing and transferring of vehicle inventory.

Responsibilities
- Specify and order new trucks for inventory in accordance with management direction, overseeing the factory ordering/invoicing process for accuracy. Review all order reports such as change orders and scheduling changes.
- Direct and coordinate dealer PDI, preparation for sale requirements, and placement into new truck inventory.
- Manage and administer all internal and external purchase orders.
- Create, maintain and secure MSO filing system.
- Prepare Truck Sales file for each truck (to include Factory Invoice, Final Bill, PDI paperwork and service work orders).
- Manage inventory through TRX to ensure specifications are correct and trucks are published with detailed descriptions and photos.
- Visually check and perform a physical truck count and compare with SAP Inventory Report and TRX Inventory List to make sure all units are accounted for.
- Ensure all inventory trucks are locked and maintain keys in approved, secure location.
- Proactively manage maintenance and repairs for inventory trucks with the service department.
- Develop a strategy to organize and merchandise lot regularly with clean and ready to transfer inventory.
- Maintain and communicate inventory lists including basic specs and suggested selling guidelines for all sales personnel for current and upcoming inventory.
- Actively participate in virtual sales presentations (i.e. live video conferencing, additional photos, etc.)
- Assist with initiation of Vehicle Transfers to requesting Rush Truck Center locations
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Minimum of 5 years related experience.
Other Skills & Abilities Required
- Knowledge dealership inventory software programs preferred
- Excellent knowledge and demonstrated mastery of Microsoft office; Excel, Access, and Power Point.
- Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills required.
