Our client is looking for a trusts and estates associate to join its department of 22 lawyers. With trusts and estates partners based in Connecticut, New York, and Florida, this role offers a compelling opportunity for professional growth.

The role entails substantial responsibility, including direct client interaction. The ideal candidate should demonstrate exceptional organizational, verbal, analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:

• 3 to 7 years of experience in estate planning, including sophisticated drafting, estate and trust administration, and estate and tax compliance.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage complex matters efficiently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for client interaction and document preparation.
• Analytical mindset to assess legal issues and develop effective solutions.
• Interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within the team and with clients.
• Preferred: LLM degree, enhancing expertise in trusts and estates law.
