Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal counsel on estate planning, trusts, and probate matters.
- Draft and review wills, trusts, and related documents to ensure compliance with state laws.
- Advise clients on tax implications, asset protection strategies, and wealth transfer options.
- Represent clients in probate proceedings and trust administration.
- Conduct legal research to support case strategies and ensure best practices.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional client service.
- Collaborate with financial advisors and accountants to develop comprehensive estate plans.
- Stay updated on changes in trust and estate law to provide informed guidance.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in CT.
- 3-5 years of experience in trust and estates law.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
- Proven track record of successful client interactions and case management.
