Job Description
Pay Range:
$31,561.00 - $44,977.00 - $58,393.00 (min - mid - max)
Job Duties:
20% - Manages and schedules clinic appointments, revises clinic schedules as necessary, reviews clinics prior to clinic date to ensure that they are scheduled appropriately. Responsible for assuring completeness of patient records in EPIC prior to clinic.
20% - Responsible for scheduling and coordinating patient surgeries, diagnostic tests, or other ancillary procedures predominately for the Cardiothoracic Division and other divisions as needed.
20% - Manages patient referrals, ensuring that all outside records are received and appropriate ancillary tests have been requested and/or scheduled.
20% - Serves as a contact person for the Division of CT Surgery. Responsible for coordinating schedules to include scheduling meetings and preparing travel arrangements. Maintains calendars and assembles all appropriate information for upcoming meetings as well as briefing the Physician and Nurse Practitioner prior to the meetings.
10% - Provide cross-coverage administrative support in the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery.
5% - Provide administrative support for the division as needed.
5% - Upload, proof and fax clinic notes to referring and consulting physicians.

Minimum Requirements:
A high school diploma and two years work experience that is directly related to the area of employment. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the related work experience. Some positions require a valid driver's license and good driving record; or correctable vision of 20/40 in both eyes, with or without conventional lenses, and physical qualifications in accordance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, Section 391.41; or AAVMA certification. Some positions require eligibility for bonding.
