About The Role
" The position is responsible for our platform-first social media content ideation to drive awareness and engagement for Financial's People Strategy and Employer Brand.
" To be successful in this position, the individual will build relationships internally to ensure we're curating the best stories from across the organization and creating thumb stopping, highly shared content and creating a feedback loop of review trends to help grow our digital reputation.
" Individual must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, be a strategic thinker, have a collaborative can-do mindset, remain very organized and execute with excellence.
" You're obsessed with social media, both personally and professionally, and can get others just as excited about it.
" The position reports to the Head of Social Media for *** Financial
Specific Responsibilities
" Owns employer brand and people strategy channel profiles, including but not limited to: Glassdoor, Indeed, LinkedIn Careers Page, Handshake, #Team*** Instagram, Early Careers YouTube playlist(s), DEIB YouTube playlists
" Responsible for planning, reporting, and managing execution of social media content to support our People Strategy and Employer Brand including DEIB awareness months, Early Careers programing, employee features, etc., distilling data and learnings into actionable insights to inform social-first creative approach that maps to our business goals.
o Ideates and executes unique, engaging social media content, including short form video (Reels, shorts, etc.), to develop innovative custom content tailored to each channel/community.
o Includes project management and oversight of internal partners and agencies in the creative development process, reviews, compliance submissions and scheduling/publishing.
" Provides partnership for CHRO LinkedIn content.
" Provide clear, detailed and action-oriented communication to our marketing partners, organizational partners, external resources and social media team.
" Executes ongoing monitoring of platforms and relevant online conversations, both tagged and untagged, seeking high impact opportunities to engage and be able to understand and address insights.
" Builds educational resources for and trains recruitment team and hiring managers on how to use social media effectively.
" Conducts competitive audits to understand content trends, hot topics and pain points within our industry and identify opportunities for content creation.
" Provides actionable analysis on a campaign and monthly level, informing content and approach for the next month and future campaigns.
" Provides support for strategic social media projects as needed.
" Stays up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness, i.e., attending monthly Glassdoor webinars and implementing key takeaways.
What We Are Looking For
" Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, PR or related field.
" Recruitment social media experience preferred.
" Content creation experience including video (concepting, storyboards, editing, etc.).
" Ability to execute (strategize and create) content in real time to lean into trends.
" 5+ years' relevant experience.
" Experience with social media publishing and listening tools like Sprinklr, Sprout Social, etc.
" Deep understanding of current social, content, and influencer marketing practices and activations within the industry.
" Flexible work mentality, travel as needed, and willingness to be available nights/weekends as needed.
" Must be a collaborative team player; consultative in nature and a confident decision-maker; role also requires a high level of self-motivation and ability to drive our content creation process forward in a complex organization.
" Interpersonal skills necessary to work continuously, effectively, and skillfully within the marketing department, sales partners and compliance.
" Must be confident in data analytics, both reporting and actionability with a willingness to go beyond basic tracking to draw meaningful hypotheses.

- Bring in a person on team to help support employer brand and people strategy - helping curate and curate content, promote job listing, content to support DEIB efforts, ERG content creation and development and be a partner to HR group
- Recruitment social media experience preferred
- Help support comms lead (content creation for linkedin)
- Employer brand social media channels (linkedin, glassdoor, indeed and making sure brand looks good- adding content) help us catch up to competitors in the space
- Unveiling a social account for HR
- Looking for someone who has recruitment social media experience already (don't need financial services)
- Can be more or less than 5 years of experience
- Salesforce Suite for Data Analytics - native platform
- Don't need this person to take videos but more so they take the content and tell stories with it
- What would stand out on a portfolio - need to have prior work experience (if they don't have a portfolio maybe some content they are proud of or clean linkedin)
- May need to travel every once in a while to NY
