The Fountain Group is currently seeking a HR Business Partner for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Lexington, MA. Details for the position are as follows:
Job Description:
Pay: $65-67.24/hour to start!
- Assignment Length: 1 year with possibility of extension or conversion based on performance & budget.
- Shift: Monday - Friday, Standard Shift, HYBRID ROLE (5 days/month Onsite).
- Responsibilities include:
- Act as the central point of contact and subject matter expert to assigned business unit for employee relation issues and concerns.
- Coach and advise on progressive discipline, performance management, conflict resolution, and employment risk matters.
- Ensuring a consistent and aligned approach when managing employee relations across the business.
- Gather information and prepare documentation associated with employee relations issues.
- Track and store appropriate actions and documentation.
- Conduct workplace investigations on claims which include a development of an investigation plan, conducting interviews, compiling documentation and notes, formulating findings, conclusions and recommendations.
- Work with legal counsel and compliance as needed.
- Provide expert advice, coaching, and assistance to management to address an array of employee conduct and performance issues and grievances with fluctuating levels of complexity while keeping upper management informed of status, recommendations, and diagnosis of trends that may need attention.
- Manage the interactive process under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
- Contribute to ER best practice education and policy development and provide counsel and guidance to manager and employees regarding HR policies, procedures and practices.
- Work closely with Leave of Absence, Occupational Health, security, information security, legal and compliance to ensure cross collaboration on employee relations matters.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree REQUIRED.
- 7+ years of experience in HR/Employee Relations HIGHLY PREFERRED.
- Previous experience with Employee Relations in a diverse environment preferred.
- Background within pharmaceutical manufacturing, manufacturing or scientific industries preferred.
- Familiarity and comfort with state and federal employment laws.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
