Overview:Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, the Front of House Utility positions will provide ultimate hospitality for guests in a fast-paced, high volume environment by providing support to the restaurant staff at McCormick Place Convention Center.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $25.27 to $25.63
This is a UNION position
This position will remain open until Dec 31, 2024.
Responsibilities:Runner/Restocker
- Pick up and transport of Hot/Cold food products from warehouse to designated restaurant locations.
- Setting tables and chairs, moving concession carts and helping stock carts with paper and food products
- Store all equipment in proper storage areas.
- Stock and Restock food shelves and coolers and ensure accuracy of items placed and labels facing forward
- Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor
Busser
- Setup front of house beverage areas and stock
- Properly stock all cutlery, napkins, condiments
- Clean all tables/chairs/counters/rails and glass areas within area of responsibility
- Sweep all areas of carpet and floors
- Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor
Supervisory Responsibilities
- This position does not have supervisory responsibilities

Educational Requirement
- Must have a High School Diploma/GED
- Must have sufficient math ability to accurately add, subtract, divide, multiply and perform other basic business math calculations and pass basic math skills test.
- Must speak, be able to read and understand English well enough to converse with customers,
- supervisor’s and employees
- Understand written and oral direction and communicate effectively with others
Skills and Abilities
- Must possess good organizational skills
- Must have ability to follow directions and effectively perform the work
- Ability to work closely with others
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment; sense of urgency
- Must have a pleasant personality and adhere to Uniform Standards policy

- Must be able to work various shifts and hours to include holidays and weekends
