Qualification/Responsibilities:
- Must possess a High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior practice management system experience or at least one year of previous patient registration experience or a related role
- Inventory and stock supplies maintained at nurses station; distribute appropriate supplies; record inventory and cost data and provide data to the facilities Administrator.
- Maintain a safe and orderly work and storage area.
- Inventory and monitor central supply levels; work with management to analyze supply usage and determine target inventory levels and reorder points.
- Order, receive and restock in accordance with procedures; secure emergency or critical items; monitor cost and maintain related records.
- Reconcile spending at end of month to ensure budgeted dollars are being met.
- Responsible for the scheduling of patient appointments for consultations, evaluations, and treatments; follow-up or re-evaluation
- Apply knowledge in providing accurate and detailed information to patients with respect to test preparations.
- Arrange transportation for residents to and from their appointments.
- Set up exams for patients and handle customer service inquiries, as well as ensure that there is enough time for physicians to complete medical examinations and procedures before the next appointment.
