University of Louisville Physicians is currently seeking BE/BC family medicine or internal medicine/peds physician to join our urgent care plus practices in Louisville. KY. REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine; board certification in family or internal medicine/peds and eligibility for licensure in Kentucky are required. Clinical experience in family medicine, internal medicine or emergency medicine is preferred.

• Possess knowledge to diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, and deformities. This includes symptoms, treatment alternatives, drug properties and interactions, and preventive health-care measures.
• Must be able to write routine reports and correspondence. Should have knowledge of EMR system. Familiarity with EPIC preferred; however, onsite EMR training will be provided
• Have excellent judgment and discretion, the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Be a team player with a "can do" attitude that can work in a fast-paced, customer-service driven environment
• Ability to work independently and productively with minimum supervision
• Shifts are 12 hour and require evenings, 8am to 8pm.
• 3 shifts a week, 156 per year (can work more if desired)
• There is a weekend rotation requirement.
